Overview
NoMoreJanuary.co.uk is a content website. You can read all guides and use all calculators without providing any personal information. The only situation in which we collect your email address is when you voluntarily subscribe to our deadline reminder service.
Email Collection — Deadline Reminders
When you subscribe to receive a reminder before the 31 January Self Assessment deadline, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you that reminder and related Self Assessment guidance.
- Consent: You must explicitly tick a consent checkbox before subscribing. We do not pre-tick any consent boxes.
- What we store: Your email address, the date and time you submitted the form, and the page on which you subscribed (for audit purposes). We do not store your name or any other personal details.
- How long we keep your data: Until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email we send.
- Email service provider: We use Netlify Forms to collect and store form submissions. Netlify's privacy policy applies to their processing of your data. You can set up email notifications in the Netlify dashboard to receive submissions at a configured email address.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not ask for your name, phone number, or postal address
- Our tax calculators do not store your inputs — all calculations run in your browser and are not sent to or retained on our servers
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g. which pages are most visited). Any analytics tool we use is configured to not collect personally identifiable information.
Server Logs
Our hosting provider may maintain standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to identify or track individual users.
Accountant Matching Form
If you use our Find an Accountant form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, phone number, business type, income range, services needed, and any additional details) to match you with a suitable UK accountant. We may share your contact details and relevant information with the accountant we recommend so they can reach out to you.
Your information is used solely for this matching purpose. We do not use it for marketing and we do not share it with any other third parties. Submissions are handled via Netlify Forms and stored in our Netlify account. You can request deletion of your submission at any time by contacting us.

Some pages contain links to external services (e.g. HMRC, accounting software providers). If you click through and use those services, their privacy policies apply — not ours.
Your Rights (UK GDPR)
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via the information on our About page.
